The NY Botanical Garden (5.4.13)

It was a beautiful spring day. I took to the kids and my mom to the NY Botanical Garden.

I try to take my mom every spring since she loves~ flowers. A couple of years ago we went in time for their annual Orchid show, but this spring, we missed it. Nonetheless, she and the kids really enjoyed the outdoor.

The kids had plenty of rooms to run around and soak in nature. They had time for hands on digging, watering the plants, and watch the fish swim in the pond.

Kara is old enough to appreciate some of their displays.

I saw so many couples just walking around the garden, enjoying each other's company, and appreciating the nature's beauty. I would love to come back with just David and stroll around the garden with coffee!

We brought own food and ate at the cafe. We had a great time with great food, and great weather
