Cancun 2018

 Jordan
We all woke up at 1:00. We were supposed to be at Cancun for 7 nights and 8 days but Dad forgot we were supposed to go an extra day so we ended up just going for 6 nights and 7 days. “I think Appa was crying,” Kara kept saying. We went from July 5 to July 11, 2018.

When we arrived at the airport we had to wait a really long time. Eventually we got on the plane. When we arrived at Cancun we were all relieved because we thought our ears were going to pop on the plane. We finally arrived at the hotel about ten minutes later.

Umma and Appa talked to the front desk people while we kids waited. We waited for a long time; it seemed like we had to wait for 2 hours, but finally, we got our rooms. Our rooms were 9 rooms apart but we were still happy we could finally go swimming.

Once we arrived at the pool we all jumped in.

Like we expected, the pool was warm.

The only bad thing was that Umma bought a CVS branded sunblock that was horrible and stung so much around your eyes! Eventually, Appa bought two good sunblock bottles for $40 at the gift shop. When we were done swimming we ate dinner. Then we slept in our rooms.

Some days, Umma would go to the spa. “This is Mommy’s vacation,” Appa said. This went on for the next few days until Appa finally announced we were getting a swim-up room. We had to wait a while and we had some difficulties opening our old room but it was worth it when we arrived in our swim-up room.

The room was huge! It had two TV’s, a king sized bed, but best of all, it had 2 bathrooms! We were all really happy, but we were most happy with the backyard pool. We swam really late for the last nights.

Appa met a woman that he had a “crush” on and I fed an iguana fruits!
When we had to come back, we were all really sad, but overall, we enjoyed our experience!
