17 months

Kara is now 17 months.

She's slowly getting better about playing without me being nearby her. She's also getting more and more stubborn as well.

For example, she climbs on the high chair, but instead of sitting down, she'll stand on it. I either have her sit or get off, but she'll fight to stand! She'll eventually give up and does something else, but she'll be persistent about it for at least 5 mins...

By that time, she'll cry and looks for her brothers to be comforted. It's a very cute sight actually. Aaron or Jordan hugging Kara, and asks her, "Who did it? Mommy? Awww.. It's okay..." The whole time Kara will just "cry", and be just dramatic.

She also LOVES outdoors!

She likes to walk around, she tries to climb on her brothers' bicycle & tricycle, and her favorite thing to do is riding the monster truck with the boys. I remember Jordan being very scared of it when he was Kara's age. Once she's on board, she won't get off it! She's definitely a lot more adventurous than the boys for sure. Don't know if that's good or bad...

I could not take any picture of Kara looking at the camera because she was just so busy doing her own thing that no matter how much I tried to get her attention, she didn't care!

Emoticons are a great way to visually express how you feel.
However, there are times when unintended content is converted to emoticon because the content happens to have one of the emoticon symbols. That's why it's always good idea to preview your comment before posting and when you see this type of problem, you can indicate NOT to auto convert.
