game addictions

 David
I was pretty crazy with PC game addictions in the past.
It got so bad that I had to stop playing them completely.
However, because of my love for the games I still own Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, and Nintendo GameCube.

Maggie, dear friend from church, stopped by our house for dinner the other day and when she found this game that was still in a wrap, unopened (hence never played) she could not resist but to rip off the wrap and start playing...

If you have owned NES in the past, there's no way you would not know this game called Zelda. It's probably the best game ever made for NES.
Maggie ended up playing for several hours and left after midnight that day while I was asleep.

Today, she came over again after the Service and started to play where she left off. I was watching her play then got to play a little and we both ended playing for about 5 or 6 hours. Madness...

I just want to share 3 games that I was especially addicted to in the past and each of them had significant impact on my life style.

The first game was WarCraft II. I was so addicted to this game that I became a vampire and I was sleeping during the day and playing all night every night. I got addicted to this game in my senior year in college.

The second game was another game made by Blizzard, same company that made WarCraft and StarCraft. I was addicted to this game in my graduate school year and I almost burnt down my apartment

The last game that I was addicted to was Counter Strike. I was playing this game while I was working during the first year of my marriage. It got so bad that I had to uninstall it from my PC or Katie would have divorced me...

After playing for several hours with Maggie today, it brought these good and bad memories in the past so I just wanted to share here

Emoticons are a great way to visually express how you feel.
However, there are times when unintended content is converted to emoticon because the content happens to have one of the emoticon symbols. That's why it's always good idea to preview your comment before posting and when you see this type of problem, you can indicate NOT to auto convert.
