 David

This past Sunday, 4 churches in Fort Lee got together and had a joint Worship Sunday Service at Fort Lee High School.

This was indeed a very special and momentous occasion, which reminded everyone that we all believe in the same Gospel and in the same Lord, Jesus Christ.

We are all in this together, to spread the Good News and to live a life that would be pleasing to God. We should never think of other churches as the "competitors" or try to out do them. Instead, we need to encourage and provide strength for each other so that we can do greater things for God's Kingdom together.

I think this type of joint Service with other churches is something that we ought to do more often and it encourages us that there are many other believers outside of our church in various age groups and nationalities.

In conclusion, this joint Worship Service reminded me of the following verse:

"Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him" (1 Kings 19:18)
