PHP & MySQL for Dummies

 David

In year 2003, I got involved with making a website for our Korean Ministry (parent church) church.

Back then, I did have my old personal website that was created with Microsoft ASP and Access database but I had never worked with PHP or MySQL database.

Since PHP and MySQL are the De facto tools for creating a website on any hosting service, I had to quickly learn the language.
So... I had purchased my first "For Dummies" book

Looks like I purchased the very first edition and now they have up to 4th edition published.

I was very skeptical about purchasing "For Dummies" book but I was really a dummy since I didn't know anything about PHP.

I was actually very happy with this book and it looks like I read the entire 366 pages and book still has many bookmarks that I had added for future references.

If you are learning PHP and MySQL for the very first time for developing a website, I would not hesitate to recommend this book!

Emoticons are a great way to visually express how you feel.
However, there are times when unintended content is converted to emoticon because the content happens to have one of the emoticon symbols. That's why it's always good idea to preview your comment before posting and when you see this type of problem, you can indicate NOT to auto convert.
