don't take things for granted but be thankful
However, it felt very strange leaving the hospital without our baby Kara.
It made us realize how thankful we are for being able to take Aaron and Jordan with us when they were born. Both of them were born with full term pregnancy.
Katie's mom has been staying with us since last Tuesday.
I do not feel uncomfortable being around her but her cooking and housekeeping are not up to Katie's standards and bothers me a bit here and there.
So, I learned to appreciate Katie more and realized how great she is in all the housekeeping and cooking.
Kara is being treated for jaundice now. We were hoping that she can come home by Wednesday or so but due to high level of jaundice, she will most likely need to stay at NICU little longer.
Even though the situation for Kara is not where we want to be, we are still thankful for so many things that could have been worse...
be strong Kara and God is with us.
